Equipment Car 977708 arrived during July, following the departure of the Courier Van. This vehicle was formerly part of the Class 316 "Holec" test train and was fitted out internally with test equipment and a transformer. Much of the equipment was intended for use in a new power-supply vehicle to replace the Generator Car.
